As the Nation gives thanks to the service of Queen Elizabeth II, we would like to give our personal thanks for the opportunities through our respective lives, and the positive impact the Royal Family has had in shaping them.
My wife served as one of Her Majesty’s Inspectorate from 2009 2017. with significant achievements in complaints, counter terrorism and enforcement and was graded as an Outstanding Inspector.
My early childhood memories were of the Silver Jubilee in 1977 taking part in the Whittington Precession.
In March 1990 I attended St Jame’s Palace to receive my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award
In 1994 I was in attendance at Highgrove House for my services to the Prince’s Trust for Staffordshire. I have been fortunate to have met Prince Charles on 3 Separate occasions.
From 1999-2010 I worked in the delivery and management of The Prince’s Trust and Millennium Volunteers programme for Stoke on Trent College. During this time we Celebrated delivery of 200 Team Programmes. In 2002 Staffordshire Millennium Volunteers Delivered a Queens Golden Jubilee Party in conjunction with the now ParkHall Academy.
