Even In A Lifetime, You can Never Experience Enough Music

So tomorrow is My Birthday and I am now 50+ years young, Music has gotten me through some tough times, and some amazing times. If you do nothing more with this post take a listen to John Prine, like me he has survived Cancer, Unlike me, he Was taken Too early through COVID-19.

I’ve been fortunate in life to see some awesome places, most of which can be captured with just a few notes from a song playing at the time which, when replayed transports you instantly to that memory, time, and place.

Listen to Sam Stone by John Prine, for many years I worked with young people, some of whom sadly lost their lives to drug addiction, this story captivates the loss after Vietnam War to many who became dependant. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtrALjg0-xQ

His other classics include Lake Marie, Summers End, when you have made it this far listen to his House of Strumbo and Hello in there.

Music for me, has been a place of both refuge and inspiration, take from it what you need, revisit it and discover something new as if hearing for the first time. Enjoy Always….

Inspired? you can find his story here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Prine
