Whilst the UK is in lockdown amidst this our biggest battle outside of wartime, here too at Oaks Barn Farm we are self-isolating to prevent the further spread of this virus and reduce the impact on our struggling NHS.
This need not be all bad news, it is spring and the perfect chance to get ahead with growing some food. In the Greenhouse we have potato bags planted up, strawberry plants in new leaf and runner beans all growing strong.
Every 2 days we are now making Bread for this is by far the best way to enjoy fresh bread without the daily risk of going off the farm.
We will be lambing during April this year and our pigs are growing strong and loving the sunshine.
