Our Timeline Journey of just some of the events of Oaks Barn Farm over The Past 12 years:
September 2006 Coach House Conversion is completed.

February 2007 we plant the orchard with 30 trees and establish the perimeter hedge.

In July 2010 Wayne left Stoke on Trent College and his work with the Princes Trust Team Programme and The Millennium Volunteers project to focus on building our Farm Stay business.
August 2010 the farm goes live on Twitter with their @OaksBarnFarm account. Now nearing 5000 followers.

Summer 2011 Gabion project to move polly tunnel and reinforce bank to ditch.
March 2011 Launch of Lambing Live cam into website.
February 2011 new Field entrance installed to Priory Piece and fencing installed.
March 2011 Oaks Barn Farm host training ground for Inkberrow Young Farmers Practice Ground.

December 2011 the farm goes live with their Facebook Page.

In 2011 we won our Green Apple Award for Tourism and were presented in The House of Commons.

2012 Farm takes delivery of its first Shepherd Hut supplied by Riverside Shepherd Huts

November 2012 Oaks Barn Farm installed Solar panels, to offset our growth in energy consumption, through additional technologies and energy saving measures we are now able to produce the same energy as we use.

January 2013 Farm launches its Instagram account.

March 2013 Farm starts running Air Rifle Shooting Workshops.

October 2014 Woodland trust donate 200 sapling trees to Oaks Barn Farm.
March 2014 pig pen gets rebuilt.

June 2014 Oaks Barn Farm scoop International Award of Excellence for Corporate Social Responsibility.

January 2015 the farm gets greener with the installation of our green Biomass Boiler heating each of our properties from sustainable resources.

In April 2015 we completed the second of our self catering conversions in the form of The Granary at Oaks Barn Farm.

March 2016 Dan starts Oaks Barn Services with the purchase of his first tractor and tanker.

May 2016 new greenhouse goes up at Oaks Barn Farm.

August 2016 wayne gets all clear following Bowel Cancer surgery.
In October 2016 we attended Chateau Impney as we had been shortlisted for The British Farming Awards under the category of Digital Innovator of The Year Award.

January 2017 The Farm Gets a double page spread in The Farmers Guardian raising awareness on the signs and symptoms of Bowel cancer and the importance of early diagnosis.

February 2017 Wayne interviewed by Oxford University in Audio interview on patient experience following Bowel Cancer Surgery.

March 2017 Farm Purchases Gator to offer 4×4 experience for Farm Stay Guests.

March 2017 Oaks Barn Farm installs Salt Water Hot Tub for its Granary Guests powered by its solar install.

April 2017 Wayne talks at National Patient Day on phycological impact of being diagnosed with Bowel Cancer.

May 2017 Sue and I get married in Inkberrow Church and hold the reception back at Oaks Barn Farm.

In June 2017 Sue left Her Majesties Inspectorate Team for Ofsted to focus on our growing Farm Stay business.
July 2017 Farm launches its new website fully integrating its social media platforms.

January 2018 install electric feed to barn for Shepherds View. Replace patio and windows to Farm House Reception.
