There is something about sitting in the Farm House Kitchen, on a snowy winter weekend with a hot cup of tea boiled on the wood stove, safe in the knowledge that there is enough wood to last through the rest of the winter.
There is a sense of purpose to the day as Sue has the bread maker busily working on her latest batch of onion bread, the onions have been diced and browned on the top of the wood stove.
There is no need to venture outside unless any lambs are imminent today (due date of 1st April).
