What a difference a day makes at Oaks Barn Farm, we approached one of our Twitter Friends @Scottlar https://twitter.com/scottylar to do some metal detecting on our bottom fields, he said he would pay £15 per day to let him detect we said we would match fund his contribution if we could donate it towards Bowel Cancer Awareness, he gave us £20 + our £20 then if donated through just giving earns £50 total.
Scott had a nice day on the farm finding a coin a WWII bullet a Shell an ornate coat hook and a musket ball.
To round off the day we were interviewed by The Farmers Guardian for a feature on Raising Awareness of Bowel Cancer.
Be kind, do good things with the right people and the world is full of opportunities.
